Welcome to The Rusty Buck! I’m thrilled to share the story of our family-owned business and how we’ve grown from a humble archery shop to a beloved hub for all things outdoor in the heart of Versailles, Indiana. We opened our doors in 2018 with a passion for archery, and I can confidently say that every step of our journey has been driven by our love for the sport and our commitment to our customers.

When we first launched in Versailles, we set out to create more than just a shop; we wanted to build a community. Great help! I called them and told them what kind of muzzle loader I bought from someone. I asked if they have all the stuff I need for it. They told me I. A bring it along and they’d help me out. Not only did they supply me with the correct powder, balls, and accessories, they showed me the correct measurements of powder and how to use it correctly. Way above what I expected. Next, I took me old recurve bow in and they basically did the same thing. Restrung it, and showed me how to for next time. Had me shoot it and made arrows for me that fit perfectly. I’ve bought my crossbow from them. I’ve bought a few guns from them. I’ve bought accessories from them. And I’ve bought much ammo from them. Always friendly and helpful. Even when I’ve just gone in and bothered them with questions.
